DESCRIPTION:Join Long Island Climate Smart Communities Coordinator\, Cameron Engineering for a Public Open House dialogue on September 20\, 2023\, from 4 PM to 7 PM at the John J. Byrne Community Center in Uniondale\, New York\, at the center’s new community site located at 925 Jerusalem Avenue. \nNew York State’s Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act (CLCPA) has set ambitious goals to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. To meet these targets\, it is crucial to enhance equitable\, reliable\, and sustainable public transportation options. \nWe\, therefore\, invite you to participate in Long Island Climate Smart Communities Coordinator\, Cameron Engineering for a Public Open House to foster an open dialogue on how to create more sustainable and affordable public transportation options. This is an opportunity to voice your opinion and help inform what the community needs. The event is open to everyone\, so bring your friends\, family\, and neighbors along for the event.
