Refund Policy for Uniondale Neighborhood Center, Inc. / dba: John J. Byrne Community Center | UNIONDALE

Thank you for considering or having booked an event or program with John J. Byrne Community Center. We understand that plans can change, and we aim to be as accommodating as possible. However, to ensure the smooth operation of our facility and programs, we have implemented the following refund policy:

1. Full Refund: If you cancel more than 30 days in advance of your booked date or program start, you will receive a full refund minus a $20 administrative fee.
2. Partial Refund: If you cancel between 15 to 30 days in advance of your booked date or program start, you will receive a 50% refund.
3. No Refund: Cancellations made less than 14 days in advance of the booked date or program start will not be eligible for a refund. However, we may offer the opportunity to reschedule or provide a credit for a future booking or program, at the discretion of John J. Byrne Community Center’s management.
4. Program Cancellations by [Community Center Name]: If we must cancel a program or booking due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., facility repairs, extreme weather), participants will be given the option of a full refund or credit for a future booking or program.
5. Medical or Emergency Situations: In the event of a medical emergency or unforeseen personal situation preventing attendance, please contact us as soon as possible. We will evaluate these situations on a case-by-case basis and may provide a full or partial refund or credit.
6. Group Bookings: For group bookings or large events, special conditions may apply. Please refer to your contract or reach out to our bookings department for more details.
7. Processing Time: Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 10 business days of the cancellation request.
