From an intimate meeting to a 90-guest celebration or a full field day, our indoor and outdoor spaces in the heart of Uniondale flex to fit your gathering – with A/V, staging, tables, and chairs all included at no extra charge. Every booking is a Program Support Contribution: your event directly funds free literacy, wellness, and youth programs for the Uniondale community.

Planning a recurring program? Weekly and monthly series are welcome – select “Recurring Program or Meetings” on the request form and we will work out a schedule with you.
Our Facilities
Every space includes furniture, A/V, and equipment at no extra charge – choose the setup that fits your event.
Meeting Room A – our largest room: Starting at $500 per event
Seats up to 90 banquet-style with round tables, 60 theater-style, or 24 classroom-style. 85″ smart TV and podium with microphone. Reduced contributions may be available for shorter or scaled-down uses – ask when you request your date.
Meeting Room B – lounge and learning space: Starting at $250 per event
Comfortable lounge seating for 15-20 (up to 30 with added chairs), 85″ smart TV, and 4 computer workstations – ideal for workshops, computer classes, and registration-based programs.
Conference Room – meet in comfort: Starting at $25/hour
Seats 10 around the conference table, with TV/computer, whiteboard, podium, and in-table laptop outlets.
Meeting Room C – the quiet office: Starting at $15/hour
Round table for 4 plus a work desk – perfect for tutoring, counseling, and one-on-ones. Nonprofit and community rates available.
Parking Lot – open-air event space: Starting at $500 per event
Our 100-space lot hosts festivals, markets, and outdoor celebrations; guest parking relocates to the adjacent field.
Ballfields 1 and 2: Starting at $75/hour
Games, practices, field days, and full-day events ($500/day). Season-long licenses available for schools and leagues – ask about seasonal rates.

Everything included, no surprise fees
Round tables (up to 15), 60 folding chairs, six- and eight-foot tables, a classroom set of desks and rolling chairs – and you can combine the folding and rolling chairs to accommodate even more guests – a portable 8’x4′ stage with steps, podiums with microphones and a speaker, lobby digital sign-in kiosk, building-wide wi-fi, laptop/iPad hookup to our smart TVs, and use of the pantry – all at no extra cost. Hosts handle their own setup, breakdown, and cleanup – set the room up your way.
Booking Information
How to Book
Booking your event is easy:
- Send a request – tell us your date, space, and needs. We respond within 2 business days.
- Review your estimate – we confirm availability and send your Program Support Contribution estimate.
- Sign and reserve – sign the agreement online and pay your 50% deposit to lock in your date. The balance is due 14 days before your event.
- You’re booked – manage documents, payments, and your booking history anytime in your Byrne Center portal.
Good to know
- Catered and prepared food is welcome; no cooking on premises.
- No alcohol; no smoking or other substances.
- Hosts handle setup, breakdown, cleanup, and trash removal within their booked time, and leave nothing behind.
- Event insurance may be required depending on your event’s size and type. Certificates must name Uniondale Neighborhood Center, Inc., 925 Jerusalem Avenue, Uniondale, NY 11553 as an insured.
- A $200 refundable security deposit applies to events over 75 guests.
- Parking Lot events require extra lead time so we can arrange alternate parking next door.
- Program Support Contributions are payments for facility use and are not tax-deductible charitable donations.
