David Greaves
President
With decades of leadership in community development and nonprofit management, David has guided the Center in launching initiatives like Thrive & Empower and Tomorrow's Leaders, building partnerships across schools, healthcare providers, and government agencies.
Expertise: Strategic nonprofit leadership, organizational development, public-private partnerships, and community advocacy.
Justin Brown
Vice President
As Associate Director at Teachers College, Columbia University, Justin brings expertise in higher education administration and youth mentorship. He has served on boards including Minority Millennials, AHRC Nassau, and Hofstra University, bridging academia and community development.
Expertise: Education leadership, youth mentorship, workforce readiness, and civic engagement program design.
Chinyere Croft-Thornhill
Secretary
With expertise in communications, special education, civic leadership, and nonprofit governance, Chinyere ensures accurate documentation and consistent board operations. She is active in St. George's Episcopal Church and the Turtle Hook Middle School PTA.
Expertise: Communications strategy, community engagement, and governance policy implementation.
Regine M. Cayemitte
Treasurer
Founder and Owner of La Petite Kinder, Regine brings 20+ years in childcare management, business operations, and fiscal administration. Her expertise in budgeting, payroll, and compliance directly strengthens the Center's financial stewardship.
Expertise: Financial planning, business management, nonprofit accounting, and fiscal compliance oversight.
Inglish Cooke
Director
Executive Director and Owner of Overton Academy in Uniondale, Inglish brings 15+ years in education, parent advocacy, and community engagement. Her work in the Uniondale School District has deepened ties between families, educators, and civic leaders.
Expertise: Public relations, creative arts management, event coordination, and cultural program development.
Edward Moses
Director
Edward brings expertise in facilities operations, recreational program management, and sports leadership to the Byrne Center Board, supporting inclusive community resource coordination and programming for Uniondale residents.

Renee Moses
Director
Renee is dedicated to community outreach and youth empowerment, bringing expertise in volunteer management and family engagement initiatives that serve Uniondale residents.

Marvin Amazan
Executive Director
A Uniondale native and first-generation Haitian-American, Marvin combines expertise in organizational strategy, civic engagement, and education to strengthen the Center's role as a catalyst for empowerment. As Founder and CEO of Amazan Strategies, he has advised corporations, nonprofits, and government agencies on workforce development, financial literacy, and community wellness.
Founder of Wolfpack United and recognized as one of Long Island's "40 Under 40" honorees by Blank Slate Media, Marvin is known for his collaborative leadership and ability to translate vision into meaningful action.
Expertise: Organizational strategy, public affairs, community development, workforce readiness, and civic engagement.
